Irene Ann (Szakovits) Supinski

Irene Ann Supinski, 97, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2016.  She was born on July 3, 1919 in Toledo, Ohio to Alex and Theresa (Fuleky) Szakovits and was a longtime resident of the Birmingham community.  Irene was a homemaker for most of her life, but did work briefly at Champion Spark Plug and Autolite.  She enjoyed cooking and baking especially Hungarian dishes and sewing. Irene was a former member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.  Irene loved flowers and enjoyed playing Bingo with the girls at Luther Hills.  She will be dearly missed.

Irene is survived by her sons, Robert (Sharon) Supinski and Gary Supinski; grandchildren, Kerry (Eric) Jefferies, Jaimie (Tom) Corwin and Jennifer (Skip) Jurski; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Nathan, Lucas and Lily.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles; her brothers, William and Tony and her sister, Helen Marshalko.

Services were private. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Our Lady of Toledo Shrine.
