I will be unable to attend the memorial service on Saturday for Michael. May Jesus our God of comfort embrace you all with His loving arms as you remember and celebrate his life legacy. May these words of Jesus set to a song fill your hearts with hope and comfort: 'Be not afraid. I go before you always. Come, follow Me, and I will give you rest'. May our risen Lord & Savior richly bless you all now and in the days ahead.

May the family find comfort in loving memories, and in knowing that God is "close to those that are broken at heart; and he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces" (Isaiah 25:8).

Karen, Ronald, and families... Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29/1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may seem sometimes insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1). Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences.

To Michael's Family,
I was lucky to meet Michael one day at Hospice when he was up in a wheelchair outside on the patio. I heard lots of good stories about him from his dad and sister. We were there for the same reason, and we supported each other for days. There are no words to say that help our sorrow. But I find comfort in knowing their ok now, no more pain now. But never will they be forgotten. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear loved one. It seems no greater sadness is felt than when someone so dear to us is loss. May you find comfort in your memories and draw strength from a promise God has provided which gives the hope of someday being reunited with your beloved ( John 5 : 28,29 ). This promised future is one that will be filled with great joy because it will include perfect health and everlasting life on a paradise earth where " the former things have passed away " ( Rev. 21 : 4, Psalms 37 : 29 ). Mike was my best friend for a number of years as a teenager, whom I met through working with his mom at the Hitching Post restaurant. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My prayers of condolence are with Karen and the rest of the family.

Mike was a Great childhood friend. I remember the Summer of Ride the Lightning, and the Metallica logo painted on the basement wall. Had some great summers hanging out down the street. I knew Mike had been battling Cancer and I am very Sad he was unable to recover. Last time I saw him was when I played drums with Downspee, a favorite local band of his. Keep rockin' Bro! You will be missed! I am glad YOU are FREE from All the Suffering!! Let Go Let God.
