I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. Please accept my condolences at this painful time. Losing a loved one is distressing and as comfort is needed from family and friends, it is my hope your family will find comforting the promise at Isaiah 25:8 where we are assured that "death will be swallowed up forever." It is my hope your family will find strength to endure during the days ahead.

I knew Mr. Kusan when my family lived a few doors down from he and Mrs. Kusan while we were summering in Reno Beach in 1960.
I would have been six at the time. You could hear Mrs. Kusan playing the organ and Mr. Kusan tending the lawn. They were the kindest, quiet, and loving couple I had ever met. Later I remember him coming over to fix our black and white television set. Here too, he was so relaxed and calm, always smiling saying this won't take long.
Later in life when at Clay you would catch a glimpse of him and say hi. He never forgot me or my parents. I am happy I was able to introduce my wife to him before he left his house in Reno. I was in my mid fifties and he still new me.

God will have no problem guiding him to heaven to be with all the people he loved and loved him so much. He will always be tucked away in my mind with the rest of my treasures. Rest now...you've earned it!
