Ronald W. Perry

Ronald W. Perry, 76, of Oregon passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Lane Park of Oregon. He was born March 29, 1940 in Oak Harbor, Ohio to Lawrence and Dorothea (Buhrow) Perry and was a 1958 graduate of Oak Harbor High School  . He married Judith R. Deal on September 13, 1958 and she survives.

Ronald was a member of the Teamsters Local 20 and a truck driver with TNT Holland, Smith and UPS. When not driving over the road, Ron also was a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling all over the U.S. and Canada and wintering in the Naples, Florida area for 17 years.

He is also survived by his children, Lauri Perry (Mark Dintinger), Robin (Chuck) Biggert and Greg (Beth) Perry; grandchildren, Kristen (Aramis) Ballester, Nathan Perry, Kelsey (Justin) Wehr, Chassey Turner, Charles (Jessica) Biggert III, Samantha and Sarah Perry; great-grandchildren, Celeste, Aiden, Layla, Bella, Emma, Olivia and Romney; siblings, Dave (Sharon) Perry, Janet (John) Gilbert and Alan (Carol) Perry; brother-in-law, Ken (Gerry) Deal and many dear nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Jack Deal and sister-in-law, Norma Jean (Keller) Perry.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Freck Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. with the family to receive guests one hour prior.  Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association. The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Southern Care Hospice and Lane Park of Oregon for their love and care of Ron.
