Jean L. Leck

            Jean L. Leck, 77, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg after a long battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was born in Toledo on October 21, 1939 and graduated in 1957 from Libbey High School. Jean worked for Ohio Bell in the accounting department until raising her family. Later in life she worked at St. Charles and St. Lukes hospitals. Jean was a member of Zion Church. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed traveling with her family and ladies group. Jean volunteered at St. Charles hospital, Hospice Northwest Ohio, Easter Seals and Make A Wish

            She is survived by her children, Richard (Laura) Cole, Brian (Kendra) Leck, Mark (Lona) Leck and Jennifer (Todd) Togrul; grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Zachary, Briana, Larissa, Kennedy, Caden and Kerrigan; great-grandchildren, Colton, Zoie, Zayne and Easton; siblings, Ron (Edie) Lasko and Joan (Ed) Sarlo; as well as many beloved friends who are indeed family. Jean was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur (Ethel) Davis, who raised her; parents, Harold (Irene) Lasko; first husband, Richard Cole; second husband, James Leck and 1 grandson.

            Jeans family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Phibbs and his staff for their tender care.

            Jean’s visitation will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 26535 Pemberville Rd Perrysburg, OH where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
