Carol Lynn (Tarr) Taylor

Carol L. Taylor, 60, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo on July 2, 1956 to William and Mary (Bodi) Tarr, Sr. and was a 1974 graduate of Clay High School. Carol was a loving wife to Michael Taylor who passed away February 23, 2016. She worked as a beautician for many years, enjoyed flower arranging and playing volleyball. Carol cherished time spent with family and friends, playing cards and games. She also enjoyed spoiling her dogs.

Carol is survived by her mom, Mary Tarr; brother, William Tarr, Jr.; sisters, Linda Tarr, Diane (Joe Lewarski) Roberts and Janet (Matt) Wilbarger; nieces and nephews, Rachel Roberts, Erin Roberts, Nick Lewarski, Meghan Tarr, Derick Malkemus and Audrey Wilbarger; brothers-in-law, Jim and Richard Taylor and and sisters-in-law, Sue Ish, Nancy Hymes, Betty (Dave) Heavner and Vickey (Lance) Reynolds along with many dear aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her father, Bill Tarr; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Woody and June Taylor; sisters-in-law, Linda Wells and Pat Taylor. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to those family members who visited Carol often.

A Memorial Service will begin at Noon on Friday, January 20, 2017 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 17877 OH-579, Martin, OH 43445 with the family to receive guests one hour prior. Inurnment will follow at Elliston Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family c/o Mary Tarr.
