Floyd L. Ward

            Floyd L. Ward, 81, of Walbridge, OH passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Heartland of Oregon in Oregon, OH. He was born in Oregon, OH on December 2, 1934 to Elmer and Inis (Reno) Ward. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Floyd was employed with C.S.X. Railroad as a Yardmen for over 30 years until he retired in 1995. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood working, being outdoors and collecting model trains, books and R.C. planes.

            He is survived by his son, Jerry (Kim) Ward; grandchildren, Destiny and Jerry II; 3 great- grandchildren and siblings, David, Katherine and Becky. He was preceded in death by his parents.

             A celebration of Floyd’s life will take place at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 1-4 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to A.S.P.C.A. or Paws and Whiskers Animal Shelter.
