Janis L. (Harmer) Corns

     Janis L. Corns lost her battle with cancer at the age of 62 on Friday, August 12, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio , Perrysburg. Janis aka “Aunt Jan” loved being surrounded by family and friends. She also enjoyed baking, canning and Bingo. She is survived by her husband, David Corns, Sr.; daughter, Lisa (Tim Stahl) Corns; grandsons, Joshua Oswald and Phillip Baum; mother, Nancy (David, Sr.) Notheis; father, Walter (Emma) Harmer; 8 siblings, Patricia (Jerry) Cooper, Susan (Terry) Oneail, Cheryl Kellerbauer, Dawn Notheis, David Notheis Jr., Karl Notheis, Bryan (Janet) Harmer and Kim (Teddy) McCarty; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Janis was preceded in death by her son, David Corns, Jr.; sister, Dawny Simanski and mother - in - law, Bernadine Corns.

     Memorial services will be held at East Minister United Presbyterian Church, 725 Navarre Avenue in Toledo, Saturday, August 20, at 11 a.m., luncheon will immediately follow at 3309 N. Genoa Clay Center Road in Genoa, OH.
